As a rapidly growing business, Biouf needed a more structured identity without losing its vintage-rodeo charm. The challenge: to convey vintage Western style while rooting the brand in Basque culture, with locations in Donibane and Ziburu. We began with an iconographic audit of second-hand and Western shops to identify recurring visual codes. Three creative directions emerged; the chosen one combines a 'saloon' serif lettering with a Basque red, burgundy, saddle brown, and cream palette, evoking aged leather and Basque facades. To signify its connection to the region, we illustrated a custom crest inspired by vintage emblems (hotels, businesses, etc.), adorned with the town's name.
