Stanislav Kulakovskiy, also known as Kulakostas, hails from Donetsk, where his musical journey began with screaming vocals in a metalcore band. This early exploration eventually led him to delve into breakcore and other electronic genres. In 2012, he unveiled his "Kulakostas" project with the release of the debut EP "Suicide" on PRO-TEZ records, based in Moscow and LA. Following this, in 2013, he introduced his first LP titled "Empty We Are" on DZA's How2Make records.

Now, with his upcoming second album titled "Anxiety," Kulakostas draws from his experiences living through the conflict in his hometown, delving into themes of anxiety and fear. Despite the challenging circumstances, he currently resides in Kyiv, where he reflects on overcoming these emotions. However, the music itself speaks volumes, transcending the need for conceptualization or commentary.

Kulakostas' sound is characterized by its vitality, tenderness, and occasional melancholy, always delivered with honesty and a touch of naivety. With his sophomore album, he showcases a development in production and sound, elevating his artistry to new heights.
